New Jersey‘s Armoni Sexton, 15, was killed in a shooting last night Saturday (April 18). The Paterson-native was a student at Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST). Sexton was on the right path to many of great things. Unfortunately, he was taken away too soon. He had a bright future as a basketball player.

The kid was great! A lot of people in North Jersey and some residents in NYC knew who Armoni Sexton was.

The 6’7″ basketball player forward was one of the more talented recruits from c/0 2018, and had an excellent freshman season for PCSST. He was the team’s leading scorer and rebounder.

donbleek.com is shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Sexton. We extend our thoughts, prayers, condolences and sympathy to the Sexton family.

Nobody, especially a good high school student deserves to be murdered in cold blood. Sexton was supposed to be enjoying his weekend, getting ready to complete his first year of high school and preparing for summer basketball tournaments, not being called home by our heavenly father. But I could understand why God would’ve wanted Sexton close to him, because he was truly an angel on earth.

He’s gonna be missed!

R.I.P. Armoni Sexton
