Courtside At The Barclays: Jay Z & Beyonce Attend The Nets’ Home Opener
“I still own the building, I’m still keeping my seat,” rapped Jay-Z on “Open Letter“. The music and entertainment mogul will continue to make money from the Barclays Center and its success because one of his 40/40 clubs is located inside of it as well as his Roca Wear clothing store.
Last night Monday (November 3), Jay-Z and his pop star wife Beyonce were spotted sitting courtside at Nets‘ game opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Barclays Center in Downtown, Brooklyn. Jay’s childhood friend and road manager Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith was also kicking courtside with the Carters.
R&B singer Ashanti performed the national anthem and rapper Fabolous introduced the starting lineup.
Jay‘s home team is still rooting and cheering for him.
